Among the documented misuses of this web site, some use this information to make negative reports against the parents, intended prevent reunification with children, based on accusations that the parents are “associating with the wrong people,” “focusing on the wrong issues,” and “having the wrong attitude” about the administration of their case and the way their children are treated in state custody.
None of these accusations have anything to do with the parents’ ability to provide a safe and appropriate home to their children and should never be considered by any court, but we don’t live in a perfect world.
We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause, but we feel it is very important to protect those who are targeted for retaliation simply for seeking information.

INTRODUCTION:

This site provides unparalleled information and resources for families involved with child welfare investigations and court cases, and for professionals and volunteers who practice in this arena.

We regret that we have had to institute certain protocols to prevent caseworkers, Guardians ad litem, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) and others from printing this web site to introduce into evidence in court proceedings for various reasons, including to be used against parents in their child welfare cases.

These protocols are very simple:

  • This site is intended to be viewed on a computer while you are online and connected to this web site. There are no conditions attached to online browsing.
  • You must have permission or pay in advance to print, copy, save or distribute the content of this web site.
  • To open a .pdf document, you will be asked to enter a password. The password is “I agree” indicating your agreement to these terms.

These protocols are for the protection of family members who are associating with family rights activists and advocates, who are speaking out, petitioning the government for redress of grievances and seeking knowledge and information. . . all rights protected under our Constitution.

Unfortunately, this site is not able to be viewed with Mozilla Firefox. We don’t know why, but will attempt to correct that problem. (Can you Help?) It can be viewed with Internet Explorer, Netscape, and Safari.
